Bef. April 1783 Isaac Jones is born(1). [I have never seen a record which indicates where. Perhaps one of his sons or daughters lived long enough to say where their father was born in the 1900 US Census.]

Mar 13, 1804 John Shaddix marries Nancy Clayton [need source]. She is probably a sister to Milly and the daughter of Thomas Clayton and Milly Unknown.

Bef. April 1804 Isaac Jones, Columbia Co., GA registers for the 1805 Land Lottery. His registration # is 174(2).

1805 Isaac Jones, Columbia Co., GA draws one blank in the 1805 Land Lottery, indicating that he was single.

1805 Isaac Jones pays tax on 125 acres in Columbia Co., GA(3). He is listed as living adjacent to Nathan Jones, and lives very near Thomas Clayton, William Shaddock, and John Shaddock. The Jones family would be close to the Shaddix and Clayton families for many years.

1805 Isaac Jones serves as a juror in Columbia Co., GA along with Nathan Jones.

May 8, 1821 Isaac Jones dies in Morgan Co., GA. He holds account books for Nathan Jones, and Aaron Jones.

Aft May 8, 1821 Milly Jones draws land in the 1820/21 Land Lottery winning lot 23, section 16, in Henry Co., GA(26).

Aft May 8, 1821 Orphans of Isaac Jones draw 202 acres in Monroe Co., GA(27).

1822 "Malindy" Jones pays taxes(28) in Morgan Co., GA for the orphans of Isaac Jones. Milly is listed as the guardian of Isaac Jones' orphans. Also present in Morgan County is James Shaddix.

March 8, 1823 Milly Jones dismissed from Antioch Baptist Church, Morgan Co., GA(29)

1823 Milly Jones moves from Morgan Co., GA (near Godfrey) to Monroe Co., GA (probably near Orchard Hill).

May 5, 1828 James Shaddix petitions the court of Morgan Co., GA to transfer his executorship of Isaac Jones's estate to the county of Pike indicating that he had moved to that county from Morgan Co., GA.(30)

Dec 10, 1829 202 acres belonging to Isaac Jones's estate is sold to James Evans in Morgan Co., GA.

1830 William Riley Jones, son of Isaac is listed in the Pike Co., GA census as head of a household with brothers John B. Jones, Seaborn Jones, Isaac W. Jones, sisters Rachel (age 11), Eleanor (age 15), mother Milly age 38, and another unknown female aged 30-40 years.

Oct 7, 1833 Aaron Lafayette Hickman(31) born (Pike Co., GA). Aaron was the son of Zilla Ann Jones Hickman, wife of Thomas Hickman and daughter of Aaron Jones.

Nov 27, 1834 Joseph Jones married Elizabeth Walden in GA. [Joseph is almost certainly the son of Nathan Jones of Morgan Co., GA]. This marriage is listed in the Isaac Jones Bible.

Dec, 1834 Isaac Shadix and Rody Hurst married probably in Pike Co., GA(32). Isaac Shaddix was the son of John Shaddix and Nancy Clayton, and the nephew of Isaac and Milly Jones. Isaac Shaddix had a half sister named Malinda.

William Riley Jones, son of Isaac is listed in the 1840 US Census in Pike Co., GA (age 33) with brother John B. Jones in his household along with three young males age 10-20, and one male age 70-80. Also, in the household is his mother Milly (age 48) and sister Rachel (age 21).

Jul 2, 1847 John Barney Jones is appointed guardian of Aaron L. Hickman(33).

1850 Aaron Jones (age 69 b. ca 1781) is living with Isaac's son, Seaborn Jones in Pike Co., GA. Milly is living with daughter Rachel next door to her son William Riley Jones.(34) Zilla Ann Jones' children (by James Oliver Perry Weathers) are living in the household of Solomon Willoughby in Pike County.
